Souvlaki

Had a really nice souvlaki from the local Greek café this evening.

Not a terribly imposing place, but family run and very friendly.  The pita breads are made fresh from dough and griddle cooked as required, then add garlic yoghurt and parsley sauce, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato and a little red onion, and follow up with a bloody huge shovel of shaved barbecued lamb.  Serve with fluffy cooked chip and YUM.

Sometimes it’s annoying living in the second highest concentration of Greeks in the world outside Greece, but the food is worth it.  :)
